Sake tricks you really. The restaurant doesn't look as good as the food is. The food is mmmmm yea good. The more you go there, the more options that you will discover from this bomb restaurant. You can't really go wrong with picking anything, it's just a preference of what you're feeling like honestly.
I try to do the order ahead. Their steak, chicken, and shrimp, is amazing. Even better when you combine all. Also there are carrots that will melt in your mouth. I live in Lawrenceville, but am willing to make the drive to Monroe for their food!!! I have never been disappointed!!!
I love this place. I enjoy my meal every time I get it from sake . I started ordering food from sake when I was pregnant with my first daughter and she is 18 years old now.. That's a lot of good meals.
Was in the Monroe area doing sales visits trying to expand our service into this area. Was getting hangry and craving some Japanese food. Found this place saw some bad reviews and was iffy at first but decided to give it a try and sooo glad I did!! I got the teriyaki steak with all the veggies and it was soooo good. I'm sitting in the parking lot deciding if I want another serving because it was so delicious! Sweet carrots were amazing and food was perfectly cooked and hot and fresh! Also great price and quick service. Shrimp sauce is better than the shrimp sauce at my usual hibachi spot and 1/2 the prices ! I sure hope we get a lot more business in Monroe because I'm dying to be out this way as much as possible for some great Japanese food! Hell the food was so good I'm gonna start looking at home prices near Monroe so I can be closer
This is my favorite "to go" Japanese restaurant. We have been picking up hibachi style meals from here for years The food is good. Service is prompt and polite. I definitely recommend dining at Sake Express.
Great food and awesome prices. I eat here a few times a week! The quality is consistent every time. Plus it is a healthy, I usually get chicken, rice and vegetables. The yum yum sauce is delicious.
